I’ve been a portrait photographer since 2011 and love brainstorming photoshoot ideas with my clients!

You may be wondering…

Senior pictures in the Portland area take place June-October. This is BEFORE senior year or in the very early fall months.

This is because it’s our BEST weather, teens have more availability in the summer and more daylight. Plus you’ll have your images in time for your yearbook submission in the fall.

This is part of the service I offer to my senior portrait clients. I’ll put your yearbook deadline in my calendar and follow up with you before it is due to ensure I have all the details I need. And I’ll cc you on all communications so you know it’s submitted!

Of course! When we are planning your senior portrait session we’ll talk about all the things that are important to capture for you. Some seniors want their dog, cat, or horse included. Others want a mini family session with everyone there or to have their besties pop in for a few shots.

Your photoshoot timeline will be created so that you can have these special people come and join in for a shot or two and still feel like the photoshoot is all about you!

Outdoor portrait photography in Portland has a few busy seasons so it’s a good idea to plan ahead. Seniors book months in advance to get their ideal session date in the summer or early fall. The calendar for Seniors opens on March 1st. Fall is always busy with Family Portraits and finishing up Seniors. Spring and early Summer are usually great to book with just a few weeks notice.

Of course! I remember the days of working around a nap so for your family photos we’ll talk about what time of day is best for your kiddos.

The best times of day for natural light are a few hours after sunrise or before sunset. But the BEST time is always when your kiddos are happy and full!

Of course! Most of my clients choose a Collection that includes a mix of products and digitals so that they get the best of both. I’d hate for us to spend all this time and energy to only create another file on your computer.

As a professional photographer I have access to professional print labs that produce archival quality products. I want you to enjoy your gorgeous images in your home.
