One of the great things about being part of the Senior Squad is the impromptu shoots. These are so much fun, very low key, and most of the time we just laugh and hang out. Check out our last one a few days before the 4th of July.
I live in an older home in Beaverton and we have a large lot. So much that in the 5 years we’ve been in this house, we haven’t landscaped at all. (Part of that is cause we had a kid and we were in maintenance mode lol) So when I quit my office job in June my goal was to work on landscaping our third of an acre.
I’ve always dreamed of putting in a wildflower field so this year I did it! I also did a few rows of sunflowers. Tip to anyone that wants to do this, read the seed packet. If it says 10-12ft, the sunflowers will be 10-12ft tall.
I’d been watering all summer and waiting for my sunflowers to bloom so when they were just starting to flower the last week of August, I had a few girls from the Class of 2020 Senior Squad over to take pictures in my backyard.
Thank goodness I did cause look at the weather now! Not getting an extended summer this year. Lame!
Thanks for coming to hang out in my backyard ladies!
