When you contact me about Senior Portraits I’ll suggest we meet up for a consultation. This is a great way for you to learn all about the Senior Portrait Experience. But maybe you’re not too sure you wanna meet up and potentially waste your time? In this blog post I’ll go over everything we’ll chat about in the quick and easy consultation.
Several things happen when I meet with a potential client. First, its my treat so let me buy you a coffee or tea. My favorite place to have a consultation is at Ava Roasteria. They make tasty espresso drinks. I worked for Starbucks in my 20’s so I value a well pulled espresso shot…unfortunately starbucks changed their standards after I left and went to automated machines. Consistent results but not always as good as the hand pulled shots. If coffee isn’t your thing how about fro-yo? We can find a place that will work for both of us.
After we’re set with a lil something yummy we’ll chat. I’ve got a few basic q’s… what high school does your teen attend, what would you like to see from their senior pictures, what would they like to see from their portraits, have you hired a professional photographer in the past, how was that experience, etc. Easy questions to get a good idea of what you are looking for to ensure I’m the right photographer for you.
Once I get to know what you are looking for I’ll tell you about what I offer. I’ll walk you through the Senior Magazine for the Class of 2018, talk through how I’ll help you prepare for a shoot, what to expect at the photoshoot and what to expect afterwards. I also usually bring a few samples of my products to show examples. You’ll get to see all the products I offer at your Gallery Reveal and Ordering Session two weeks after the photoshoot, but before we get there I want to ensure you are confident in the products I offer. I offer professional prints, albums and mounts. Not all prints are created equal so its important before you hire a photographer that you know you’ll get quality.
If you have any questions we’ll go over them and then we’ll decide if you’re ready to set a date or need more time to think. Either is fine with me. Once you’re ready to book your session all you need to do is let me know! I’ll send over the contract to sign, its all online so its super easy, and send an invoice for the session fee. When both are done, you’ve got a date for a photoshoot! Woohoo!
Did I mention its only 30 minutes. Yup! Quick and easy! Want to schedule a consultation to talk about your senior portraits? Shoot me an email at hello@annagraf.com.
