It’s the holiday season. Everyone is making shopping lists and going to the mall for the first time in a year to get gifts but over at AGP, I’m planning for 2019! Any other Portland small business owners doing the same??? December is my month to reset, take a look back on 2018. What worked in my business, what didn’t, and what I want to accomplish going forward.
Portland Small Business
One thing I did in 2018 was to reach out to other local Portland small businesses. In January, I met with Sam at Brow & Blowdry in Beaverton to make a deal for my seniors to get a blowout before their photoshoot. I loved working with Sam and her team and so did my girls! They loved the extra pampering and the girls had gorgeous silky hair too!
Before my first senior went to get her blowout I asked Sam if I could shoot a lil video of the service to show my clients and what I found was that I fell in love with video. I turned that little video into a promo video for Brow & Blowdry and suddenly I wanted to create that for other small businesses. Video is becoming huge online these days for facebook, instagram and for use on your website to show your potential clients the products and services you offer.
I Can Help
If you raised your hand earlier about setting goals for 2019, I wanna hear from you! If you are a hairstylist, makeup artist, baker, florist, plumber, jeweler, landscaper, dentist, or veterinarian for a few examples. I would love to tell your story, to show your clients what you can offer them. Let’s meet up for coffee and brainstorm how you can get your business in front of your perfect customers.
