Fall Family Sessions

It’s the end of July but Fall will be here in a blink! (and I kinda can’t wait cause its going to be over 100 today!) Fall is always the busiest time of year for photographers. For me, my busy season is September – November. In October I wrap up my senior sessions from summer and early fall, start school portraits for all the private schools and try to fit as many families as I can while still getting some quality time with my own fam and if I sleep, great! So this year I’m only offering 1 family session per week from September through October. I do this to ensure you get your gallery back in a timely manner and just in case we have rain in the forecast, we’ll have time to reschedule.

If you’re anything like the families I’ve been talking to in the past week, they haven’t done family portraits in a few years. With the pan-o-rama and getting back to busy schedules, it can be hard to find the time. My family sessions are designed for up to an hour so that we can really enjoy our time together, capture more personality, more snuggles and not feel rushed for time. And I love when you bring grandparents or even pets that can be a fun addition to your family session!

Before your session, we’ll email or chat on the phone about what you’d like from your images. We’ll talk time of day and locations to find what is right for your family. Have mobility issues or need a park that allows pets? We’ll find the right spot for you. And you’ll get my Family Portrait Guide on how to prepare for your shoot. It talks about what to wear and what to expect so that you can feel confident at your photoshoot.

So I wanted to note that I will have Family Minis but they will be in November, in the studio. I’m planning a lil setup that will be lightly holiday themed.
