I love that I specialize in senior portraits but with that brings months and months every year when my camera sits on the shelf. So this year I decided to pick up my camera and start a 52 project. I knew there was no way I could do a 365 and once a month seemed like something I’d forget so a once a week project is perfect. We’ll see how long I last…just squeaking in under the wire for week one. ha!
I found the bethadilly 52 for the weekly photography challenge. It sounds easy enough right? One photo per week. Except for the part where I have to take several to find the right one and then I find several that I like so I’ll try to have a lil blog post every week with the top favs of the week and post the one I chose on my instagram page.
The prompt for this week was documentary. I decided to bring out the camera after Liam’s nap and try to document our Saturday afternoon. He’s nearly 17 months old now and I realized that once he turned 1 I stopped taking his picture monthly. Not sure why I stopped, I went back to work full time in October and the end of senior season was busy and then it was the holidays. Just didn’t make time for it. He’s started walking and a blink later he was running so I’ve been doing lots of video. Guessing most of this 52 project will be pictures of Liam so I hope you like adorable toddlers.
Here are my favs for week one….follow me on instagram to see which I chose as my fav!
