Jessica is a good friend and she’s also a fantastic veterinarian! If you need a good vet I highly recommend her! I met her a few years back when my cat Lucy had started to lose weight and I was in between vets. Lucy was diagnosed lymphoma and we lost her over the course of a few months. Then less than a year later my old lady cat, Josie was gone in a weekend. It was a tough year but having a vet that is also a friend helped my piece of mind more than I can say. I’d never had a vet before that cared about my fur babies as much as I did and she always made sure I was ok too. That’s truly amazing to find! I’ve told everyone this, and Jessica, but we’ll follow her to the ends of the earth with our future fur babies. After a few months of being pet-less Jessica texted me that she had found the cat for us. We’d only just started talking about maybe being ready but she knew we were ready for the right cat. I’ve got a blog post coming up about him but Simon has been a happy addition to our family and all thanks to Jessica!
Jessica wanted to do some pictures because she hasn’t had any portraits done since her senior year of high school…so it was time. We spent the afternoon running around Sauvie Island to a few pumpkin patches, a park, off on the side of the road…just whatever struck us as a perfect backdrop.
I love how every single image turned out! She had a ton of ideas, was willing to try out some new posing ideas…even if they felt awkward and she worked her face better than Tyra herself. lol We had such a fun afternoon and I’ve been dying to share my favorites!
