Back at our first Senior Squad styled shoot the girls said they wanted to do a photoshoot every season. I loved the idea so we planned to do our Fall themed photoshoot in October. Early September I sent them a questionnaire to determine the location and style. I love giving a few ideas and letting the girls choose what they want from the shoot. I feel like they are more invested if they have a say in the concept. Plus they always come up with something awesome that I would have never thought of. Love the collaboration! The girls wanted a pumpkin patch location and casual fall outfits.
I also ran a giveaway on my instagram page for a Junior to win a spot at our shoot and join the fun. I was super excited to meet the winner Morgan. She goes to Westview High School and is on the dance team with Melany.
October came and rained on our parade. Literally. Every.freaking.weekend!
After rescheduling week after week we finally called it off when the last weekend came and went and the pumpkin patches were all slogged in mud. We rescheduled one last time for the weekend of Thanksgiving and I was determined to not reschedule again! So much so that I asked the girls to bring umbrellas just in case.
The day of the shoot I got a text from Audrey that she wasn’t feeling well and we totally missed having her there! I made lil swag bags for the girls with a personalized mug and candy. I also stopped at Starbucks to get hot cocoas for everyone cause not only was it threatening to rain but it was COLD! We met up at my fav local park and lucked into a window without rain! The shoot might not have been a full styled shoot at the pumpkin patch but the girls look gorgeous! And thats all that matters right….and I think they had fun too!
