Audrey is a senior at Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She’s part of my AGP Senior Squad for the Class of 2017. We met up at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego for her senior portrait session in October.
George Rogers Park is deceptively small. At first glance its a small patch of grass with stairs leading down to the beach along the Willamette River. But when you actually explore it has so much to offer. The upper part has a small stage and athletic fields and when you drive lower there’s a large bridge going towards the forest with a hiking trail. We focused on the beach area for Audrey’s senior pictures. You’ll see how different a session can look from this same park when I post about Lily’s Senior Portrait session. Same park, way different feel. One of the things I love most about specializing in senior portraits is tailoring everything to fit the senior.
Because Audrey is part of my Senior Squad she gets professional makeup included with her membership fee. So we met up with my MUA Haley and hoped the few drops of rain we felt weren’t going to multiply. Thankfully they didn’t! And because of that the park got a bit busy. We saw no less than 5 other seniors getting their portraits done that day…its a very popular park for pictures.
Audrey has a casual, laid back style and she wanted that reflected in her portraits. She also wanted her dog Pepper and her younger sister included. So cute! A few weeks later at her Gallery Reveal and Ordering session she chose the deep matte finish for all her casual pictures and the metallic finish for the cheerleading photos. That little detail of picking the finish to your photos can make all the difference and not all photographers offer the service. (I’m so in love with the deep matte finish that I want everything in my house reprinted in it! So dreamy you have to see it in person!)
Such a beautiful girl inside and out! Thank you Audrey for choosing me to be your senior portrait photographer!
