Today is all about Angelina’s gorgeous images!
Once I decided on making florals the main statement for our styled shoot I started looking for photography inspiration. The one thing I love about photography is that there is always something new to learn. So for this shoot I decided I wanted to learn how to do a double exposure. This style is growing in popularity, but I hadn’t seen it done with senior portraits and I knew florals would be perfect to try it. I created them in photoshop so I could select the perfect stock photo to blend with the perfect portrait. But to get there I had to have clean headshots. So I bought myself a backdrop stand. Yay! I’d been looking for an excuse to get one. It was a fun way to warm up to the shoot and I just love the headshots on the white backdrop so much I might start making it a regular thing.
Angelina loves roses so I knew I needed a rose for her double exposure portrait. I’m looking forward to doing this again with her senior photos. We’re going to the Rose Garden so next time I’ll try some double exposures in camera! So fun!
What do you think? Do you love the double exposures or are they too trendy?
